Summary:

A local food distributor is looking to add a Warehouse Lead to their team. Candidates for this role would be working alongside the Warehouse Manager to receive incoming products, maintain inventory, coordinate deliveries, and prepare orders for delivery. This is a Direct Hire position with a 1st shift schedule with a Monday – Thursday 6am – 3pm schedule and Fridays 6am – 11am. Position pays $25/hr and includes benefits. Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse activities – receiving, inventory pulling orders, coordinating deliveries, etc
• Occasionally driving delivery routes or making pick ups
• Maintain weekly truck logs and inform of any needed service or repairs

Requirements

• Strong background in warehouse
• Ability to operate trucks, forklift and pallet jacks
• Strong management, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold environments (coolers and freezers)
