Job Title: Bilingual Translator (Spanish and English)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a fluent Spanish and English-speaking translator to join our team. The role involves providing accurate translation services and assisting with orientations for new employees, clients, or program participants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, culturally sensitive, and comfortable working in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate written documents, emails, and other materials accurately between Spanish and English.
  
• Serve as an interpreter during meetings, orientations, and presentations.
  
• Assist with onboarding and orientation sessions by translating instructions, policies, and procedures.
  
• Facilitate clear communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking individuals or groups.
  
• Ensure translations maintain the original intent, tone, and context.
  
• Proofread and edit translations for accuracy and clarity.
  
• Provide cultural context and guidance to help improve understanding and communication.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written skills in both languages.
  
• Proven experience in translation and/or interpretation (formal or informal settings).
  
• Comfort and experience in conducting or supporting orientations.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse populations.
  
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology (if applicable to the organization).
  
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in translation/interpretation (optional but advantageous).
  
• Experience in customer service, human resources, or education-related roles.
  
• Knowledge of workplace policies and compliance standards.
  

Work Environment:

• Requires flexibility to adjust to different schedules for orientations or client needs.
