Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Manahawkin, New Jersey

Pay Rate:

• Local: $60/hour
• Travel: $67/hour

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3x12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every Other Weekend Required
• Holidays: At least one per season
• No On-Call

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in L&D and postpartum recovery.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Support physicians and assist in deliveries and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and advocate for evidence-based practices.
• Work in a combined L&D and Mother/Baby unit (LDPR) with variable patient ratios:
• Mother/Baby: 1:3-4
• Labor: 1:2

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years recent L&D experience (Must)
• ASN (BSN Preferred)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA), NRP – Required
• Mother/Baby or Nursery experience – Preferred
• Must not have other jobs that conflict with the assigned schedule.
