Part-Time House Manager – $30/Hour

Location: Andover, MA
Schedule: 12-16 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 2:00–6:00 PM or 1:00–5:00 PM)
Compensation: $30 per hour

Job Overview:

A professional family in Andover, MA, is seeking a highly organized and proactive House Manager to help maintain a clean, efficient, and well-functioning home. This role involves household organization, meal prep, light errands, and occasional child-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes initiative to keep the household running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms
• Establish and follow a cleaning routine (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, laundry, etc.)
• Organize closets, pantries, and storage areas for efficiency
• Prepare simple, healthy meals/snacks and assist with meal prep
• Keep the kitchen clean, manage food inventory, and minimize waste
• Run small household errands (groceries, dry cleaning, mail, etc.)
• Occasionally pick up/drop off children for school or activities
• Assist with household maintenance tasks and package deliveries

Ideal Candidate:

• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Reliable and trustworthy with strong time management skills
• Comfortable with light meal prep and household organization
• Good multitasker who can balance cleaning, errands, and minor childcare tasks
• Prior experience in household management, housekeeping, or as a family assistant preferred

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide 3-5 professional references
