JOB TITLE: Parking Lot Attendant

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Function: This position directly interacts with customers in support of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Parking operation. It helps determine customer and client satisfaction levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• In a professional and service-related manner, meets and greets airport patrons at the Express Parking Lots and provides flight information, water and directions associated with the operation and other airport services provided.
• Communicates with Dispatcher and/or Supervisor on matters related to the operation and facilitation of service for the traveling public.
• Maintains orderly queuing of buses and facilitates orderly parking of customers according to designed SmartPark procedures.
• Assists in providing timely rotation of buses through utilization of orderly customer parking techniques. Is responsible for clearing the driver when all guests have been picked up on the lot.
• Maintains open line of communication with patrons and provides timely updates of information.
• Completes reports related to type of assistance provided.
• Knowledge of the airport and area roads.
• Maintains accurate space counts and maintains the parking rows.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Availability to Work: Available to work special shift requirements depending on the locations needs. Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma or combination of experience and education
License Requirement: Must have a valid Texas driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets acceptable company standards.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.
Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions in the English language.
Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Appearance: Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
Professionalism: Maintains positive attitude. Responds to requests for service and assistance. Reacts well under pressure.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Starting Pay: $16.00/PER HOUR (Effective January 1st, 2022)
