We are looking for a Mailroom and Warehouse Assistant to handle, sort and distribute packages. This position requires someone bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.
Mailroom Assistant Responsibilities and Daily Duties:
• Identify opportunities - office related, maintenance, cleaning, security/visitor access control.
• Checking Mailbox daily, sort correspondence accordingly.
• Attend to outside couriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx) etc. to receive and/or coordinate shipping/pickups.
• Support requests from employees in the office, related to supplies, inbound/outbound shipping.
• Process commercial invoices for international shipments in the UPS system (Less than 5 weekly).
• Process Next-day or Express Courier labels, ensuring they go out by scheduled times, obtain tracking number.
• Maintain and stock UPS shipping materials, track delivery and register/certify reception to ensure correct management.
• Maintain the right level of kitchen and storage supplies & request any necessary re-stock purchases from the Executive Assistant.
• Keep the storage room organized as indicated.
Fish Tank: Partner with the fish tank service rep, ensuring fish & tank are being cared for.
Printers & PCs: For Service, Contact I.T. to open a ticket.
Special Schedule: Manager will contact you ahead of time if you need to start at 8:00 AM due to special meetings.
Shredding: Contact vendor to schedule Pickup.
Mailroom Assistant Skills:
•Be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Proven experience as a Mail Clerk or Office Clerk
• Experience with mail sorting and postage meter machines is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Well-organized, with sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and literacy skills
Job Type: Part-time Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - From 8AM to 5PM
Pay: It will depend on the candidate's experience - From $15.00 to $17 per hour
