Description: Koorsen Environmental Services, one of the premier restaurant kitchen hood and exhaust cleaning companies is on the hunt for new exhaust technicians to take the market to the next level. Primary Functions

· Provide for effective communication between customers and Koorsen Environmental Services

· Inspect restaurant hood systems for grease buildup and hazards

• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck/van ready,

tools, etc.)

• Drive truck/van to and from job site, following all traffic laws

• Remove grease buildup from restaurant hood systems

• Power-washing restaurant hood and exhaust systems

• Provide rooftop cleaning of restaurant exhaust systems

• Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner

• Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner

• Follow all Koorsen Environmental Services sales and service protocols

• Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements

· Minimum High School Diploma or GED required

· Prior industry and service experience of at least 1 year is preferable

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements

· Customer oriented interpersonal skills

· Must be able to think proactively, and in the event of a problem must think “on the fly” and react quickly to diffuse the issue

• Technical and/or mechanical knowledge and abilities

• Must be able to use hand tools and small power tools

• Must be able to exercise effective organization/time management skills

• Must have the physical ability to work on a ladder, climb, and lift weights of over 75 pounds repeatedly

• Ensure the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication

Essential Job Functions

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend acceptable business

· Must have basic mathematical skills

• Musts be able to organize, set, and attend service appointments in an effective and efficient manner

• Must have a valid Driver's License and a record of safe driving

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds

• Must be able to climb ladders to heights reaching at least 12 feet

• May be required to work on building rooftops, may not be height sensitive

• Must be physically able to access rooftops and perform work safely

• Must be able to access and tolerate small crawl spaces

• Must be able to recognize and identify colors

• Must be able to recognize safety alarm sounds and sights

• This position may require the handling of chemicals that may be skin and/or respiratory irritants. May also be exposed to ventilation areas which may be respiratory irritants. Must not be skin and respiratory sensitive to these materials and environments. MSDS are available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $400.00 - $800.00 per week
