Witmer Brothers Transportation (WBT), Inc.  is a family-owned company with over 20 years of industry experience. We specialize in transportation solutions using Conestoga trailers and expert scrap hauling services.

We understand firsthand the daily challenges drivers face, so we go above and beyond to support our drivers and offer flexibility as needed. With that, we are currently seeking immediate placement for full-time  Drivers to join our team in  Toledo, OH !

Pay: Starting at 27%, with guaranteed weekly of at least $1,000.

Responsibilities :

• Maintaining daily paperwork documentation of loads.
• Properly logging hours of service/logbook.
• Monitoring the loading and unloading of cargo, then securing the items of cargo properly for safe transportation and ensuring the load delivers safely.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

• At least two (2) years of driving experience.
• At least 6 months experience hauling coils required.
• Clean MVR required.
• Valid CDL-A License.
• No tarping required on WBT trucks.
• Strong communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, hours vary
• Occasional overtime and weekend work available
• Guaranteed weekends at home, with the option for mid-week breaks.
• Opportunity for additional earning opportunities with more miles.
