Job Title: Dental Receptionist

Location: St. Paul, MN

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist. At least a year of experience as a dental receptionist is required.

We are a startup dental practice operating out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages and dental needs, aiming to become a fast-paced, general practice. Our focus is on delivering an exceptional guest experience while growing rapidly. We are dedicated to providing the best guest experience while serving a diverse community. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming environment where both staff and patients feel valued.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet and welcome patients with a positive attitude
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule
• Handle phone calls and answer patient inquiries
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out process
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent care and service
• Verify insurance information and communicate with patients regarding coverage
• Collect payments from patients in person and over the phone, providing accurate receipts
• Verify patient insurance and eligib ility
• Bill to insurance and submit claims accurately and timely
• Enter insurance payments and post to patient accounts
• Handle patient inquiries and assist with financial arrangements
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent care and service

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a dental receptionist
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Spanish or Somali speaker

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00
