Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Long Beach, California. This long-term contract position requires a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office tools. As part of our dynamic team in the construction industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth workflows. Responsibilities: - Assign unique stock unit numbers and oversee purchase orders to ensure timely arrival. - Enter and maintain accurate data using spreadsheets and other tools, especially Microsoft Excel. - Handle email correspondence with professionalism and efficiency. - Organize and manage digital and physical files to ensure easy access and retrieval. - Perform calculations as needed to support data accuracy and reporting. - Scan and digitize documents for secure storage and accessibility. - Utilize 10-key typing skills to input data quickly and accurately. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. - Collaborate with team members to support administrative and operational tasks. Requirements - Proven experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. - Excellent typing skills, including 10-key proficiency. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to perform basic calculations and handle data analysis. - Experience with scanning and document management systems. - Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service.
