URGENT HIRING!

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Properly mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Cutting fresh fruit for cocktails, as needed
• Maintain a clean bar area, wiping down and sanitizing counters, equipment, remotes and floor as needed

Work Requirements:

• TIPS Certified
• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender (individuals with no prior Bartending experience will not be considered)
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

We started with a desire to help serve our neighbors by offering a restaurant with a friendly atmosphere where everybody knows everybody, excellent service, great traditional American cuisine, live entertainment, and a local watering hole for our friends and neighbors. Over the last 17 years, our menu has changed a bit, our offerings have expanded, but, we have remained true to our roots.
Locally owned, we live in the area and enjoy our role of supporting the community and local schools in the Ashburn and South Riding areas. We take a lot of pride in the communities we operate in, and plan to always be a locally owned, locally made, community focused neighborhood bar and grill – now in South Riding and Ashburn!
