You'll apply and expand your knowledge of PLC and HMI programming, MES, Historian tags, and Kepware while diagnosing communication networks (DeviceNet, Data Highway, CAN I/O) and using electrical test equipment to keep processes running reliably. This role executes minor PLC/HMI projects, equipment upgrades, parameter downloads, and instrument calibration while recommending and validating improvements to equipment and control strategies. Some shift work may be required. As a collaborative problem-solver, you'll work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering to gather and analyze technical and cost data, present test results, and support capital projects or product commercialization. You'll identify technical issues, propose practical solutions, manage project goals and timelines, and communicate status and roadblocks clearly. Safety, GMP, quality, and environmental compliance are integral to every task, and when accountable for others' work you'll help ensure their understanding and adherence to standards.
