Direct Counsel is seeking a transactional attorney for a rapidly growing litigation firm focused on plaintiff's side labor and employment law. The firm consists of personable, published, and well-known trial attorneys and
a group of extraordinary individuals who act as a cohesive team to achieve incredible results for
its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Management: Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising various
contracts, with a focus on complex class action settlement agreements.
• Settlement Processes: Preparing motions for court approval of class action
settlements and collaborating with class action administrators to ensure proper
settlement administration.
• Document Preparation: Creating and refining class action notices, claim forms, and
other related documents to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Monitoring Compliance: Overseeing class action administrators to ensure they fulfill
their responsibilities in accordance with court instructions.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in employment litigation
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Experience with class action settlements is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
