Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $21-22/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist for a 13-week temporary assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in venipuncture, specimen collection, and patient interaction. This role is essential in supporting laboratory operations and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary punctures following proper procedures
• Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner
• Verify patient identity and ensure accuracy in specimen collection and documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a sterile work environment
• Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns during procedures
• Maintain accurate records of draws, patient interactions, and specimen tracking
• Assist in processing and handling laboratory specimens as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT, PBT-ASCP, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong venipuncture skills and ability to handle high patient volumes
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
