Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Support & Training, Strategic Account Group  for World Wide Construction & Forestry , you will:

  • Work with Strategic Account Managers to understand customer training requirements that will help advance strategic account plans and John Deere’s positioning in customers’ equipment fleets. Make it easier for key customers to use John Deere Equipment.
  • Strengthen customer relationships by providing hands on expertise on John Deere equipment. Provide valuable product and application knowledge that makes customers want to do business with John Deere.
  • Develop and deliver product training with a special focus on the fleet needs of specific strategic accounts.  This will include coaching on their use of equipment features, equipment operation, and equipment technologies, including advanced grade control technologies.
  • Develop and deliver product maintenance and diagnostic training that will familiarize customer staff with service and repairs on their John Deere equipment. Help customers understand what repairs may be in scope for their repair staff and when they should contact their local supporting John Deere for warranty repairs or other advanced repairs.

What Skills You Need

  • Heavy equipment operation experience
  • Familiarity with one or more key construction market applications represented in the strategic accounts group, including: quarry and aggregate, distribution contractor, site prep, residential construction, commercial construction, independent rental company.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, marketing or business  or equivalent related work experience
