Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about the benefits of solar energy and guiding them through the process of transitioning to solar power. You will utilize your sales skills to negotiate contracts, market our services, and provide exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong desire to make a positive impact in their community.

Duties

• Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
• Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar power, including cost savings and environmental impact.
• Utilize technical sales skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using Salesforce or similar software.
• Collaborate with team members to develop marketing strategies that enhance outreach efforts.
• Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the installation process and address any concerns they may have.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solar sales or energy sales is preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate others.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
• Familiarity with software tools such as Salesforce for tracking sales activities is advantageous.
• Previous experience in technical sales is beneficial but not required.
• A passion for renewable energy and commitment to promoting sustainable practices is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $124,385.00 - $145,759.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract
• Bonus opportunities
• Uncapped commission
• Yearly bonus

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours
• Evenings as needed
• Every weekend
• Rotating weekends
