Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing Shopify stores that deliver exceptional user experiences and results. You’ll customize Shopify themes, implement custom features using Liquid and JavaScript, integrate third-party apps, and optimize site performance across devices. Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and customize Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
Build and maintain responsive, mobile-friendly themes and layouts.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with themes, apps, and third-party integrations.
Integrate APIs and apps to enhance Shopify functionality and performance.
Ensure pixel-perfect design execution and bug-free code.
Optimize store speed, performance, and SEO for improved visibility and user experience.
Stay current with Shopify platform updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and eCommerce teams to meet deadlines and execute tasks.
Use tools like Replo or Vue.js to bring dynamic content and layouts to life.
Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience coding Shopify websites.
Proven experience as a Web Developer, specifically on Shopify projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify builds and eCommerce functionality.
Experience working with APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
Shopify Plus or custom app development experience is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript.
Familiarity with Vue.js and Replo.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion rate optimization.
Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development.
Strong grasp of SEO best practices for eCommerce.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
