Job Description
The **ServiceNow Developer** is responsible for designing, supporting, developing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining the ServiceNow environments. The **ServiceNow Developer** will work closely with customers and IT department leads to configure ServiceNow to meet the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative proof-of-concept applications, designing workflows, and maintaining the platform in alignment with industry best practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex ServiceNow implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. **Duties and Responsibilities include the following:**
+ Proven knowledge of basic ServiceNow functionality and ability to explain it new users.
+ Develop proof-of-concept applications on the ServiceNow platform to support business initiatives.
+ Design technological solutions based on functional specifications, ensuring efficient and scalable implementation.
+ Create, implement, and optimize ServiceNow workflows and procedures for streamlined processes.
+ Design and develop customized Service Portal pages and widgets to support business needs and enhance user experience.
+ Track, document, and resolve defects, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely manner.
+ Participate in User Access Testing (UAT) to gather feedback from stakeholders, including ITIL process owners and clients.
+ Manage update sets for transferring code to test and production environments.
+ Monitoring health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
+ Process automation within the ServiceNow instance and other Information Services applications.
+ Providing updates, status, and completion of information to tickets in the work queue regarding current assigned incidents, resolution efforts, and projects.

+ Maintains an understanding of ServiceNow modules and software licensing functionality.
**Experience Requirements:**
+ Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
+ Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow modules ITSM
+ Proven experience in configuring ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts.
+ Proficiency in JavaScript
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather and understand requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Familiarity with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strong web development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
+ Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
+ ServiceNow Certifications (at a minimum Certified System Administrator (CSA))
+ Expertise integrating ServiceNow with other IT systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
+ Demonstrated expertise in ServiceNow modules ITOM, ITBM, and SecOps
**Educational Requirements:**
+ Must meet DoDD 8140 BASIC
+ Associate degree (AS/AA) or bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field, or possessing Systems Administrator expertise gained through prior education/training/employment such as military occupational specialty or classification
**Security Requirements:**
+ U.S. Citizenship required
+ Candidates must have active DoD Secret clearance
