Key Responsibilities:
Support the monthly and annual closing processes for the company and its subsidiaries.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain various schedules integral to financial reporting.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
Create and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation.
Collaborate on annual audit preparation and compile required documentation.
Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Monitor general ledger activity to ensure data integrity and alignment with company policies.
Conduct special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5–7 years of professional accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software (experience with Sage is a plus).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
