The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the planning, designing, developing, training, improving and maintaining complex computer applications. The primary application that this position is responsible for is the Salesforce application, but other responsibilities may include stand-alone applications or applications that interface with other systems including SAP. The Senior Developer will interact with business resources and other IT resources to understand the requirements for the applications and develop/configure the applications to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II).
• Proven experience leading Salesforce projects and managing development teams.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, etc.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, and batch processes to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with third-party systems via APIs.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability.
• Implement best practices for version control, including naming conventions and change
tracking.
• Automate deployment processes to reduce manual errors and ensure consistency across
environments.
• Plan and execute Salesforce releases, coordinating with development, QA, and business
teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth rollouts.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases and recommend new features or functionalities.
