- Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or the ability to obtain within first 60 days of employment
- Progressive IT experience (9 years) including at least five (5) projects in technical areas included in this job description
- Demonstrated experience with Navy RMF as a ISSE, ISSM, Validator, SCA, or NAO Action officer
- Experience creating technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and how-to guides
- Experience in designing and managing complex multi-tenant clouds, including creating virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and other resources
- Experience in developing new features and functionality for existing systems while maintaining performance standards
- Experience in monitoring system performance to ensure that it meets business requirements, identifying potential issues before they become problems, and recommending solutions
- Experience providing technical support for the cloud computing platform to internal customers who use the platform and associated cloud based services.
- Experience working with cloud-based systems (Azure Preferred)
- Preferred – Navy Qualified Validator (NQV)Some travel may be required.

- Possess one of the following from the DoD 8570 IAT Level II/CSWF Designation code 611 Advanced:
- Military training: NEC 741A Information Systems Security Manager OR working knowledge of DODD 8500.1, DODI 8500.2, DODI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and other Cybersecurity guidance.
- CASP, CISM or CISA certification
Preferred/Desired - CISSP
- Navy Qualified Validator (NQV)
Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to: - Attending mandatory, annual training sessions
- Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations
- Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Attending recurring team meetings or huddles
- Assisting in the development of new initiatives
