Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper
Location: Hybrid - Lakewood Ranch, FL (Must be able to commute to Lakewood Ranch, FL)
Salary: Starting at $60,000 (commensurate with experience)

We're seeking a Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to play a key role in managing financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting. ### What You'll Do
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
- Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Utilize QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) to manage financial transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with leadership, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.

### What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a midsize business environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and financial reporting.
- Experience preparing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and managing general ledger entries.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
