R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist Biology in South San Francisco, CA .
Your main responsibilities as a Scientist BIology:
We have a contract position opening for a talented Scientist 1 to join our Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology (BCP) Department within company s Research and Early Development (gRED) organization.
This is a hands-on, laboratory based position.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for developing, validating and executing innovative biochemical and cellular assays to support small molecule drug discovery projects.
The candidate will work closely with BCP Scientists and may collaborate with other functional areas including Structural Biology, Chemistry and Cheminformatics
What we are looking for in a Scientist BIology:
Completed MS in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field, with 1-2 years of wet-lab experience in academia or biotechnology
Experience with mammalian cell culture and biochemical assays
Excellent teamwork, communication, time management, and organizational skills
Experience with cell based fluorescent and luminescent assays
Experience with recombinant protein /protein interaction assays is a plus
