Job Description

Building Connections Behavioral Health inc. is a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, or ABA, to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are currently looking for a staff member to start working as a Receptionist and Office Administrator in our Walnut Creek Clinic. BCBH is relocating to Concord, CA in late July and this position will transition to our NPS, Building Connections Academy. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Job Details:

• The hours will be between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Clerical work at the office.
• Cover office tasks when an employee is out.
• Greet clients as they arrive.
• Take payments from clients.
• Open and close the clinic daily.
• Ensure the clinic is clean and tidy.
• Restock materials as needed. 
• Scheduling
• Assist staff, as needed, with children at the clinic.
• Cover shifts when staff is sick and/or on vacation, work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Complete daily data collection.
• Attend team meetings.
• Obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Experience Requirements:

• Preferred: 1 year working with children in an ABA or school setting.
• Preferred: 1 year working as an office assistant.

Other Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills.
• Professionalism.
• Ability to complete pre-employment, and annual on-site training.
• Must be willing to complete background checks and provide medical information.

Building Connections Behavioral Health, Inc. was founded in April of 2013 and is head quartered in Walnut Creek, CA. We focus on increasing independence for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities through Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). We currently provide services across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We provide the following services: - In home and clinic provided ABA services for individuals age 0 to 22 years. - Early Intervention services for individuals age 12 to 36 months. - Diagnostic, Developmental, and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA). - School based services including 1:1 RBTs, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavioral Supports, Staff Trainings and In-Services - Parent, Family, and Caregiver Training and Education. - Classes and Training for individuals of all ages. - Social Skills Groups for clients age 3 to 21 years.
