Job Title: RPA Business Analyst Intern

The Role: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking an RPA Business Analyst Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
This position has the opportunity to be hybrid and/or remote. The RPA Business Analyst intern will work closely with various teams to participate in feasibility analysis, gathering business requirements, documenting process workflows and solutioning new automation opportunities.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with various departments within the company to deliver successful automation projects.
What You'll Do: • Works with Manager to qualify and quantify automation opportunities through ideation workshops with business stakeholders
• Define and document business rules, decision logic, and exceptions handling for RPA solutions.
• Analyze business processes and workflows and identify opportunities for automation.
• Create detailed process documentation, including process flows, process diagrams, and process descriptions.
• Define business requirements for RPA solutions, and work with RPA developers to ensure that solutions meet those requirements.
• Identify areas of improvement, potential problems, and opportunities for growth
• Work with related developers to ensure that RPA solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet business needs.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development team members
• Participate in testing and validation of RPA solutions and ensure that solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on the use of RPA solutions.
What We Seek: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting.
• Project management skills (presentation, verbal and written); problem solving and resourcefulness; strategic minded; results orientation
• Ability to understand a business process based on a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution while using business analysis skills as needed
• Individual should be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance and direction
• Global orientation capable of working effectively across borders and cultures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Willing to work a rotational schedule to accommodate global team.
• Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects
Outstanding Candidates Will Have: • Knowledge of Agile development methodology preferred
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with RPA tools, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, is a plus
Eligibility: - Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: • Graduation years between 2025 and 2027
• Any of these majors are preferred - Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting.
