Europa Village is a one of a kind Wine Country destination offering an Old World European experience where service is gracious and unlimited. Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.
Europa Village is looking for a part-time Restaurant Host. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Fine dining experience is a plus. Strong customer service is a must. Able to work weekends.
Restaurant Host Reports to:
Restaurant Manager
Responsibilities Specific to the Restaurant Host:
Possess and live Europa Village core values
Greets guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
Interacts with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
Accurately quotes wait times if applicable
Ability to use the reservation system to track table availability
Assigns tables to guests depending on party size and server availability
Escorts guests to assigned table, presents menus and announces the server's name
Ability to answer guests questions in a warm and professional manner
Ability to clearly communicate guests needs to servers, bussers and managers as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Expectations of the Restaurant Host:
Create and foster an environment of "teamwork" by helping guests or fellow employees without a second thought
Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time
Able to communicate Europa Village's story
Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate shoes
Adhere to Europa Village's policies and procedures
Must be available to work holidays and weekends
