Job Description: We are seeking a Regulation 4 Certified Fire Alarm Tester to join our client's team in Los Angeles County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting fire alarm inspections in accordance with Chief's Regulation 4 requirements. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with local fire codes for a variety of buildings, including high-rises and non-high-rises. Key Responsibilities: + Perform fire alarm inspections and testing in compliance with Regulation 4 standards. + Ensure proper functionality of fire alarm systems and related components. + Document and report inspection results using approved forms and electronic submission platforms. + Identify and address deficiencies, coordinating necessary repairs and retesting. + Collaborate with building owners, managers, and fire department officials to maintain compliance. + Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices. Qualifications: + Regulation 4 Certification (Required). + Experience in fire alarm testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of NFPA 72 and local fire codes. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. + Excellent communication and documentation skills. + Ability to travel within Los Angeles County for inspections. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
