Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Instructor, Per Diem job at Angels on Call Homecare Peekskill, NY, US

Job Description

Angels on Call is a premier licensed home care service agency located in Peekskill, NY. Currently serving New York State including Bronx County, Dutchess County, Orange County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Sullivan County, Ulster County and Westchester County. Seeking Registered Nurses with to provide education for students at our Personal Care Aide certification school. This is an in-office position, and the primary workstation will be our main office in Peekskill. Schedule: * Up to 42 hours per week based on curriculum, class size and frequency: varies Benefits:

Competitive pay of $45/hr, and can start up to $50/hr based on experience.
Weekly pay
Accrue Paid Sick Time (1 hour earned for 30 hours worked, per New York Paid Sick Leave Law)
Accrue Paid Time Off (begins accruing immediately)
Health Insurance (Angels on Call will cover 75% of plan premium. Enrollment eligible following 90 days of full time work)

Required:

Must possess a valid NYS RN Certificate
At time of hire, candidate must be able to provide:
Proof of current flu vaccination
Proof of initial COVID-19 vaccination
Medical Malpractice Insurance of $1,000,000 incident / $6,000,000 policy
Basic Life Support Certificate
CPR Certificate
Proof of MMR vaccination, including reference ranges
Annual Physical from preceding 365 days, indicating fit for work and stamped / signed by physician

* Tuberculosis Status, either through:

Quantiferon Blood Draw within 9 months
2 PPD Tests, one within 30 days and one within 365 days
If Positive provide a chest X-ray from within 5 years or a doctors note
