If you are enthusiastic, compassionate, and are looking to make a difference for children with autism, we invite you to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position. RBTs provide direct therapy, under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervision, to develop a child’s communication, social-emotional, and adaptive daily living skills. RBTs will engage in structured teaching sessions, collect data, and collaborate with the BCBA to identify the best course of treatment for the clients they work with. This full-time position will work out of the Blue Peak Center for Applied Behavior Analysis at Mount St. Mary’s University. The Center is located in Emmitsburg, MD.

I would suggest adding preferred here. We are just starting out, and assuming we get the many, many applications that Michelle suggests, we can afford to be choosy in hiring someone with experience and certification in place. You'll want to vet references for your top candidates right away based on the timeline you have set. We can’t hire anyone without checking references. We will likely max out at $23 —$25 for a lead RBT, which we have elected not to start with.
