This position is part-time, seasonal for the 2026 season. Please note that our front office will be closed from December 19th, 2025, through January 2nd, 2026. Job Summary:

This position will assist the Cardinals Radio Announcers and Engineer in the booth for each home game. This position also includes researching and compiling game data, general administrative duties for the announcers, and assisting the Radio Network Manager. The candidate chosen for this position must be available every Home Game for the 2026 season and potentially for the 2027 season.

Job Duties:

WRITING AND RESEARCH

• Provide statistical data from previous matchups/ games when requested
• Research stats and general information according to the announcers' needs before and during the game
• Assist with scorecards for each game from the line-up that is provided by Cardinals PR via text or e-mail

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE

• Monitor booth guest traffic and serve as contact person for guests visiting the booth
• Replenish refrigerator daily & provide announcers and engineer with food and beverages when needed
• Distribute & process fan mail to announcers in a timely fashion
• Assist announcers with tickets, deliveries and pick-ups for their guests and family

PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE

• Provide announcers with edited audio cuts from inside the clubhouse or dugout before or after games
• Assist Radio Engineer with setting up, packing, and/or transporting radio equipment either in the booth, KMOX Studio at Busch Stadium or in the dugout

Experience Required:

• High attention to detail with excellent handwriting
• Confidence to pursue information, overcome obstacles, and provide solutions
• Excellent communications skills, complemented by diplomacy, empathy, and patience
• Ability to build rapport and draw information from radio staff
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task
• Excellent computer skills to research statistical information online

Education/Experience Preferred:

• 1-2+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
• Adobe Audition or audio editing experience

Work Hours:

• Available every Home Game for the 2026 season and potentially for the 2027 season. Report to Busch Stadium at least 3,5 hours before first pitch of every St. Louis Cardinals home game (including possible playoffs and World Series) and stay throughout the duration of games. (Opening day 2026 you will need to report 4 hours before the game).
