We are looking for a passionate and innovative R&D Scientist to join our dynamic team at Cibo Vita. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and development activities aimed at creating new food products and enhancing existing ones. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, quality assurance, and production, to drive product innovation and ensure alignment with consumer needs and regulatory requirements. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development: Collaborate closely with the R&D manager & product development lead to develop products in line with customer or marketing requests, with a focus on nuts, trail mix, clusters, and bars applications. Understand market trends and customer needs to guide product development efforts.
• Production Trials Support: Aid in the transfer of lab processes to large-scale production trials as per the requests from the R&D manager. This involves working closely with the production team to ensure the scalability of processes while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Training: Provide training for R&D technicians for any newly developed prototypes, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance the skills and efficiency of the team.
• Specifications & Regulation Compliance: Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of specifications and regulations for any branded and private label projects.
• Research Collaboration: Work closely with R&D manager and cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable business insights. • Reporting: Regularly update management on the progress of projects, any challenges encountered, and the results of research.

Master degree is preferred.
2-4 years of experience in food product development, food technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of food ingredients, formulation principles, and processing techniques.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and pilot plant operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with formulation software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
