Our company encourages diversity and inclusion in all its forms while our products make the world a more beautiful, safer, and sustainable home ( . - **_What's the job?_** Production Supervisor - Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, the position is accountable for overseeing production crews to attain production, cost and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment.- The position is accountable for scheduling the appropriate staff, and monitoring progress and results of their specific responsibilities.- This position works a 13 hour shift 5pm - 6am on 2 week schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days, on, 3 days off).- Must be able to work weekends.- **Requirements** **_What do you bring?_** + Education - Prefer an Associates' or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical Engineering or 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience + Manufacturing Leadership/Supervision experience required (5 years required) + Ability to learn extrusion process of making vinyl siding + Knowledge of general manufacturing safety regulations + Ability to manage and lead people in a manufacturing environment + Motivate and correct behaviors that are not within code of conduct + Oversee training, coach, develop and provide feedback to employees + Problem solve production and people issues + Recommend continuous improvements to manufacturing process + Administer company policies and 5S standards Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products,-CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
