Production Lead

 

 

Job Summary:

 

The Production Lead will oversee the production team in a manufacturing environment to meet customer requirements, both internal and external, while also maintaining and enhancing quality and process improvement objectives, while adhering to company policy and safety rules. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet the qualifications required to perform this job successfully. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  •   Serve as a role model for operators in safety, quality, attendance, conduct, performance, and efficiency. 
  •    Establish expectations of workmanship to meet quality and productivity requirements and follow work in process closely to assure that these are maintained. 
  •   Assure work assignments are being completed effectively, assist employees to resolve production problems. 
  •   Conduct investigations necessary related to quality, safety, or other production related matters. 
  •   Work closely with others in Manufacturing Operations to assure compliance with the established Manufacturing Procedures. 
  •   Initiate and maintain ongoing and consistent communication with the Production Supervisor. 
  •   Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  •   Strong time management skills. 
  •   Ability to multi-task and balance conflicting priorities. 
  •   Ability to work in a fast paced, smaller company environment. 
  •   Good verbal and written communication skills. 
  •   Good computer literacy.
  •   Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Array Technologies values our employees’ time off but occasionally; to meet business needs, this position may require some evening and weekend hours. 

  Preferred qualifications:

  •   Experience in production manufacturing. 
  •   SAP experience preferred. 
  •   Experience in leading teams, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 

 

  Physical Demands:

  • Lifting requirements: 50lbs
  • Standing hours: 90%
  • Computer hours: 10%
  • Work environment is fast paced; noise and temperature levels can vary.

Pre-Employment Requirements: 

  • Must pass a drug screen.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) 

Safety: 

  • If your role requires the wearing of steel-toed boots, the company will reimburse employees $50 per pair every two years.
  • Array operates under strict guidelines and safety standards. Ear protection, hard hats, and standard non-prescription safety glasses are provided by the company.
