Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team in Oregon City. In this role, you will support licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in delivering quality patient care and maintaining a safe, efficient therapy environment.

• Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions and exercise programs
• Transport patients to and from therapy areas using proper transfer techniques
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Sanitize equipment and treatment surfaces between patient sessions
• Stock therapy supplies and maintain inventory
• Schedule appointments and handle basic administrative tasks
• Observe and report patient responses to therapy staff
• Assist with patient documentation and data entry
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Basic understanding of physical therapy equipment and procedures
• Proficiency in patient transfer techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist patients and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare safety standards
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Additional Information

Compensation: Hourly rate of $16.00 - $17.00
