Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide (Temp to Hire)

Location: West Covina, CA

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Start Date: Immediately

Job Description: As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a critical role in assisting our physical therapists in the treatment of patients, maintaining clinic operations, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for everyone. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about healthcare and looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the preparation and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
• Set up and break down therapy equipment before and after sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the treatment and reception areas, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in working order.
• Provide support to patients, including guiding them to treatment areas, explaining therapy equipment, and answering general questions.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring necessary items are stocked and reordered as needed.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing patient documentation.
• Observe patient sessions and report feedback and patient progress to the supervising physical therapist.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in physical therapy or related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and therapists.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as moving equipment and assisting patients.
• Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
