Personal Lines Underwriter - Large National Insurance Company - Base Salary to 100k/year - Anaheim, CA

• Our client, a leading national insurance company, has an immediate opening for a Personal Lines Underwriter to work on a hybrid basis in their Anaheim office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prominent industry leader with significant potential for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Perform underwriting functions to analyze coverage and limit requests and decide what terms to offer
• Assess risk quality and compliance with company guidelines
• Order and screen miscellaneous reports needed in the rating and underwriting processes, such as Motor Vehicle reports, loss history reports, credit checks, and outside inspections
• Price business in accordance with company guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years related professional insurance underwriting experience in personal lines
• Understanding of underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations
• Knowledge of reporting that is used in the rating and underwriting processes
• Available for limited travel as needed

Compensation:

• Base salary to 100k/year
• PPO Medical & Dental Insurance, Vision & Life Insurance, 401k, and Paid Vacation & Sick Days
• Hybrid work schedule after 90 days
