This permanent role as Director Nursing Services RN - Perioperative Services offers a leadership opportunity within a dynamic clinical setting, emphasizing excellence in patient care and strategic operational oversight. The position integrates nursing services within the perioperative environment while maintaining adherence to industry standards and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Brand new position is this newly acquired facility. ambulatory surgery center - hospital type surgeries in outpatient setting
Oversee and guide the perioperative nursing staff, ensuring excellence in patient care and adherence to established protocols.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and clinical quality within perioperative services.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster seamless integration of care and optimize surgical outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and ethical standards to maintain the highest levels of patient safety.
Direct continual professional development programs to promote excellence in nursing practice and leadership.
Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and performance evaluations to support cost-effective and efficient operations.
Lead quality improvement and risk management initiatives to elevate service outcomes and mitigate clinical risks.
Masters Degree in related field (nursing, health administration, business, public health or management). Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Masters degree).
Registered Nurse License (California)
Basic Life Support
Minimum of 4 yrs. of progressive management and supervisory experience.
At least 3 years of OR.
ASC experience at least 2-3 years
Extensive clinical experience in perioperative care, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex surgical and patient care scenarios.
Proven leadership skills with a history of effectively directing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and oversee evidence-based policies and procedures that optimize patient care in perioperative services.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Strong aptitude for strategic planning, resource management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
