Location: Healthcare Facilities Across New Jersey

Shift: Day Shift

The Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure a sterile environment.
• Assist surgical teams by providing instruments, supplies, and patient monitoring.
• Assess and document preoperative and postoperative patient conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative complications.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and postoperative care.
• Adhere to professional standards and hospital policies to enhance patient safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Perioperative setting within a major acute care hospital.
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, infection control, and sterile techniques.

• Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

• Location: Healthcare facilities across New Jersey
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift Availability: Day Shift
• Requirements: Every other weekend, holiday shifts required, no on-call

• English (Speak, Read, Write)
