Job Description

SUMMARY: Load, unload, and deliver supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads, transports, and delivers items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
• Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, and filling fluids.
• Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Delivers goods to clients.
• Interacts with the customer in a professional manner.
• Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer.
• Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official.
• Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle.
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, with 5 years of driving experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay and benefits

• The salary range is $19 – $20 per hour, based on experience
