PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I – BAY AREA DISTRICT / TRIONE-ANNADEL STATE PARK
This position is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The reporting
location for this position is Trione-Annadel State Park, located at 6201 Channel Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95409, but may be required to work in other areas within
the Bay Area District. This position
will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor.
The Park Maintenance Worker I responsibilities include MAXIMO documentation, housekeeping and maintenance of park facilities grounds and systems, equipment operation, and maintenance. All duties shall be performed in a safe manner in compliance with departmental policies, safety orders, established safe work practices and the District Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). The Park Maintenance Worker I may act as the lead person to various entry level classes in addition to the seasonal employees assigned to maintenance.
This position is currently eligible for a Recruitment and Retention pay differential for the Greater Bay Area. This pay differential is five percent (5%) of the base pay for each qualifying pay period and is in addition to the posted monthly salary range.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
The incumbent’s work schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
Training and
Development Assignments may be considered.
