Job Description:

• Uses solvents and aqueous cleaners, or abrasive blasting to clean parts, mask/unmask painted parts, apply localized tin plating, and light mechanical assembly.
• Wash, mask, shot/abrasive blast, and apply metal flame spray to parts and weldments per establish manufacturing instructions.
• Makes paper stencils to meet marking requirements of sketches or blueprints.
• Uses a spray gun for stenciling all kinds of surfaces or manufacturing articles with material such as ink, enamels, lacquer, paint, etc.
• Uses a spray gun, brushes, or other application methods for paint touch up.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals such as solvents, acidic and alkaline solutions and aqueous cleaners.
• Ability to qualify and retain qualifications necessary of the processes performed.
• Ability to use various types of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thickness measuring equipment.
• Experience in Silk screen, stenciling, pad or other printing processes.
