Job Description

Our clients company is a distributor and servicer of pumps and related products playing a crucial role in providing essential solutions to industrial and municipal clients. Currently they are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. 

As an Outside Sales Rep you will be the primary contact for established customers looking for new systems expansions or parts/services for their existing systems. This role is instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service by adhering to established procedures and accurately quoting prices sales terms and delivery dates.

Responsibilities

• Engage in field sales calls to industrial and municipal enduser plants offices and consulting firms within a designated territory.
• Utilize the CRM system to reference plan and document sales activities contributing to sales growth and profit management.
• Collaborate with the inside sales team to provide technical and sales support for parts repair services and new applications.
• Facilitate training sessions and implement strategies to expand business opportunities.
• Ensure timely delivery of products technical solutions and necessary remedies to clients.
• Contribute to the design and development of custom systems to meet client needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside industrial sales or relevant field.
• Engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in industrial and fluid handling equipment with the ability to discuss technical aspects confidently.
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently to achieve targeted results both individually and as part of a team.
• Selfdirected motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic sales environment.
• Residency within the designated territory is essential for this role.
