OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR - CHAMBERSBURG, PA OFFICE OR CARLISLE, PA OFFICE

Currently offering evening shift differentials, weekly productivity bonuses, and sign on bonus.  This is a Monday through Friday position with day and evening hours (2 evenings per week).

A successful candidate will be a compassionate individual whom will put their clients treatment first, efficiently priority/time manage, and effectively offer treatment at the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintaining caseload per State Regulations.
• Ensure completion of all required paperwork (i.e. psychosocial summary, treatment plan, progress notes etcetera) as outlined by regulation both accurately and timely.
• Provides evidence-based and other approved counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate client success.
• Offer assessment, individual, and group sessions.
• Provides appropriate interventions to facilitate engagement of non-compliant patients.

Roxbury’s outpatient program specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders while using an integrated treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental health needs. We provide assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient treatment.

Job Requirements:

Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Psychology or other related field which includes a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field and one year of clinical experience in a health or human services agency required.  Licensed counselor in the state of Pennsylvania preferred.
