Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a fulfilling remote teaching opportunity? Join a dynamic team supporting K-12 students across Kansas who face a range of learning challenges. This fully remote role allows you to make a positive impact on students' lives from the comfort of your own home while collaborating with school districts to deliver tailored educational support.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction, developing and implementing personalized learning plans, and ensuring that students with diverse needs receive the best educational experience possible. This is an exciting opportunity for educators who are skilled in virtual instruction and thrive in a flexible, home-based work environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support to K-12 students with a variety of learning needs
Collaborate with school districts and other education professionals to develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver virtual instruction that is engaging, effective, and tailored to each student's unique learning style
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and team members to monitor progress and provide updates
Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations for special education

Qualifications:

Must hold an active Kansas Special Education Teaching License
Previous experience with virtual instruction is preferred, but not required
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach to support students' success

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate of $30-$38 per hour, based on experience
