**Responsibilities** **Day Full Time Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse** **$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Employee Referral Eligible position.** **Position Summary:** Mercy San Juan Medical Center Cath Lab Services performs about 2500 procedures a year in our 3 Cath Lab rooms. We are an accredited chest pain center and perform peripheral and cardiac procedures. The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. This position shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health. **Qualifications** **$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Employee Referral Eligible position.** **Minimum:** + Minimum one (1) year critical care RN experience within the last three (3) years. + Will consider 1 year Level I and/or Level II ED RN experience in lieu of critical care experience within the last 3 years. + Candidates must have cardiac rhythms and basic cardiac hemodynamics and anatomy training + Current CA RN license + Current AHA BLS and ACLS + Ability to wear lead aprons for an extended length of time during procedures + Other certifications may be required + Call required **Preferred:** + Cardiac Cath Lab experience **Overview** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael, California, serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years.
