Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Motor Rewinder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical background, with hands-on experience in rewinding motors and generators. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our equipment, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers with high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Perform rewinding of electric motors and generators according to specifications.
• Utilize schematics to diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct repairs on diesel engines and generators, ensuring optimal performance.
• Solder connections and perform welding tasks as required during repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in motor rewinding or similar roles.
• Strong electrical skills, including the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Experience in generator repair and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
• Previous work experience in a dealership or as a service technician is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
