Mortgage industry experience required
The Mortgage Operations Analyst analyzes operational performance across the mortgage loan lifecycle to identify workflow inefficiencies and support process improvements. This role partners with operations and analytics teams to deliver insights that improve cycle times, loan quality, and the borrower experience.
Analyze loan-level and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Monitor cycle times, loan readiness, and condition-clearing efficiency.
Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and metrics.
Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to reduce rework and improve throughput.
Interpret telephony and customer-interaction data to enhance communication and borrower experience.
Collaborate with Data, IT, and Business teams to ensure accurate, consistent reporting.
Support documentation of processes, metrics, and reporting standards.
Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
2–4 years of experience in mortgage operations or operational analytics.
Knowledge of the full mortgage loan lifecycle.
Strong Excel skills; introductory to intermediate SQL experience.
Experience interpreting operational, workflow, or customer-interaction metrics.
Ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with LOS and CRM platforms (e.g., proprietary LOS systems, Salesforce).
