JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for quality analysis of raw materials, finished products, expired materials, and Contract Manufactured items.
• Production support: QC, investigating non-conforming product, detailing rejections/Deviations/Warehouse Dispositions, and maintaining Micro Lab supplies and cleanliness.
• Follow basic GLP, GMP, and Safety standards.
• Maintain and update data in the AS400.
• Perform equipment checks and calibrations daily or as needed.
• Learn and utilize all Micro work instructions/procedures.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all Micro laboratory supplies including in-house prepared media or purchased supplies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Food Science, Biology, or related Science field with some laboratory experience.
• Computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, including, but not limited to weekends, overtime, or holidays.
