Responsibilities:
Educating clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and disorders.
Implementing and reviewing treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other providers.
Coordinating with other professionals and placement agencies involved in treatment.
Communicating progress and treatment updates to caregivers, teachers, and medical professionals.
Ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
Valid state-issued professional counseling license in Florida.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Creole or Portuguese is a plus).
Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, causes, and treatment options.
Previous experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with computers, telehealth platforms like Zoom, and healthcare EMRs.
