Mechanical Technician - DAY SHIFT

Position Overview
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and rectify issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
• Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required to modify or repair equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide repair and maintenance work.
• Operate and maintain power tools safely and effectively during repair and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with power tools and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
